I don’t always put my seed at 1-Across; it depends on how well I think the letters will work to generate good fill. But when I do, a puzzle like this one happens!
Oneth of the Month Mini Cryptic #17
This one might be a smidge harder than the minis usually are, as I’ve used a couple of combination wordplay or more unusual wordplay techniques here. It’s still bite-sized, so I hope I won’t scare any beginners away by saying that!
Tough as Nails Themeless #94
This themeless started with an idea for a clue rather than with a seed entry that I found interesting in and of itself. Said entry is one that I also think lends itself to fun cryptic cluing. Can you guess which one it was?

In August you get zero holidays from the feds, but you will get two themelesses from me. Here’s one!
Mini Cryptic #16
Happy August! Here’s a puzzle.
Tough as Nails Themeless #92
I welcome constructive feedback on my puzzles (although I generally don’t revise previously published puzzles, even to correct mistakes). “Wow did this puzzle suck” from someone who didn’t identify themself is not constructive feedback. These puzzles are free and you are free not to solve them if you feel that way. Maybe I’ll seed my next grid with PEANUT GALLERY, though.
Onward and upward! Hope you enjoy this puzzle, and if you don’t, please use your words and tell me what you don’t like about it. Thanks!
Tough as Nails Themeless #91
I have nothing interesting to say about this puzzle except “solve it”!
Oneth of the Month Mini Cryptic #15
I’m still on vacation, which inspired one of the entries in this puzzle.
Tough as Nails Themeless #90
This puzzle is one whose grid I made a couple of years ago, but only now have gotten around to cluing. I hope you like it!
I’m on vacation at the moment, so I hope everything uploaded and published properly! If not, go ahead and @me on Twitter about it and I’ll fix things when I get home.
Tough as Nails Themeless #89
A confession: This puzzle has made the rounds and been rejected three different times. I haven’t changed the cluing up to make it harder for the site, so it’s going to feel not so tough. But…I still think it’s a good puzzle. It’s inspired by 15-Across, which I learned from watching a season of [COUNTRY NAME REDACTED] Drag Race although it is not a drag term.
