Tough as Nails Themeless #92

I welcome constructive feedback on my puzzles (although I generally don’t revise previously published puzzles, even to correct mistakes). “Wow did this puzzle suck” from someone who didn’t identify themself is not constructive feedback. These puzzles are free and you are free not to solve them if you feel that way. Maybe I’ll seed my next grid with PEANUT GALLERY, though.

Onward and upward! Hope you enjoy this puzzle, and if you don’t, please use your words and tell me what you don’t like about it. Thanks!

  2. Fun puzzle! 46 Across is fascinating – I used to work in telecom and “MUX” was short for multiplexer, which is a device that allows multiple data streams to occupy a single circuit. I’m super impressed that you can turn out bangers (in the non-59 Across sense) and also Monday puzzles for Newsday.

  3. This one was definitely tough for me, with the NW section being what 15A says.
I’m sorry you got hateful feedback. I enjoy all of your puzzles, even when I get stymied because of some cultural or generational divide. So, then I learn something! Thank you for the challenge, thank you for posting.

  4. The comment last puzzle was almost certainly out of anger. People can become angry when stumped.

I’ve done all of your puzzles here and Saturday Stumpers. They’re all top quality and great fun to solve.

The NW and SW were BEASTS for me due to the amount of trivia, virtually of which I didn’t know.
