Bonus puzzle!

This puzzle, entitled “Sing It With Me: They’re Our Friends,” was inspired by my deep, deep disgust for that guy in the White House and, in particular, the stupidity of imposing tariffs ON OUR FRIENDS. Life is better with Mexican avocados, Spanish ham, and a whole lot of other things. I suppose it would have made more sense to make a puzzle specifically about consumer goods from [SPOILER REDACTED], but instead you get pop music.

I hope you find a little joy in this puzzle amid the chaos.

(Edited to add: There are two cross-reference clues that say “Across” but should say “Down” — apologies, it’s easier to note that here than to redo all the files)

  1. Another fun solve – thanks! To me, Canada is to music what Ireland is to literature, producing more great artists per capita than anywhere else. One blip in the clues – 28 and 29 should be clued as Down, not Across. Thanks again, Jeff

  2. Congratulations on your ACPT! (Saw you from across the room but didn’t get to say hi, or to thank you for your puzzles’ role in my growth as a solver.)

Such a fun solve! So many good clues — I happen to be in 58A right now, but I think 36A was my favorite. Just flagging a couple tiny cross-reference errors — 28D and 29D reference “across” but mean “down”.
